TESTING & CERTIFICATION

 

Testing & certification for the BeeSafe System has been delayed by new requirements for large unblockable drain covers A112.19.12.8a-2008. The Beesafe System is now undergoing the new testing requirements to be compliant with the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act.

 

The Beesafe System has completed and passed independent QQ Qualification testing!

 

Our testing was completed without a sump, so the system can be used with any size sump or without a sump. The open area inside the system provides an adequate sump with piping up to 8 inches.

Flow Testing Exceeds Expectations!

 

1- Headloss Curve - Design flow rate 100%= 792 GPM
2 -Suction Hair Entrapment - Tested as high as 2,330 GPM with no entanglement
3 - Body Entrapment - With use of equation 2.3.1.2 of the reference standard the allowable flow rate would be 6,071.7 GPM
4 - Suction Fitting Limb Entrapment - No openings allow passage of the 1 inch test cylinder
5 - Suction fitting finger admittance - neither first or second articulation joints admitted into the bee Safe system.
